Sick Chicks

We are very excited about Imogen's birthday party this weekend (Sunday, 2pm!) but unfortunately Owen has been diagnosed with TONSILITIS today: BOO! I thought I'd better take him to the Dr because he started complaining about his ears hurting so I was thinking ear infection, but no! His tonsils are swollen and red and with little white dots... The Dr wasn't sure if it was tonsiliis because he thought Owen looked too happy to be that sick!!! What he didn't know/hasn't seen is the tantrums and complete falling in a heap of the last few days! Tuesday he fell asleep randomly after watching Playschool: at 3pm he called out for me in a cry voice and when I went to him he put his arms up for me to pick him up... so I did and then he fell asleep onmy shoulder instantly! I put him to bed and couldn't wake him (despite repeated attempts and moving him to the lounge where the tv was on and everything!!) til 5 when Lee got home and had to put him on his bike outside to wake him up! Yesterday he fell asleep in the car on the way home from the shops, practically mid sentence! Anyway, hopefuly the antibiotics kick in soon and this isn't indicitive of the historic Kroehn battle with tonsilitis to come...
Imogen is very confident walking these days and has cut another tooth just recently: she now has 7. 4 at the top and 3 at the bottom. Todayshe has been very very cranky and I think there is another tooth coming; can't wait til its through so she can be happy again! Today she was running around on the tramp at Carol's and just loves it these days and is trying to jump!
Owen is very excited about his new little cousin coming very soon, however has not really let up on the idea that there could be another baby in Mummy's tummy too... we just have to keep saying "No, not at the moment"! He is nothing if not persistent!
His favourite phrases at the moment are :
"Hang on"
"I have an idea"
"I have something to tell you"... followed by "Something special".... followed by"Something else"
He is very cute.
Since he SMASHED the digital camera on the computer (crazy child!), we have been using the video camera a lot but I have trouble downloading from that so photos will have to wait.
