Easter time :)

We have had a lovely easter time, with the last of the days off today - sob sob - I'm not sure we're really recovered but I kow we don't have any more time to catch up because this weekend is coming at us very fast as well!!
We have become the lucky inheritants of Albert the cat (from Sandy and Craig). Last night he ran away as soon as he got here (Owen helpfully opened the back door to let him out!), but Craig brought him back and he has hung around this morning (guess it helps that I have fed him so he knows who his master is!). Imogen is besotted with him and squeals with delight everytime she sees him or pats him. She thinks he is wonderful. He is puss puss or Albie for short.
Owen has been full of classic quotes this morning. He told me that we only have one fish because one fish died. I said yes, one died. He said "One fish died on the cross". I said - "No darling, Jesus died on the cross, the fish just died". Oh, he said.
Then later I told him that Albert was going to live with us forever now, or at least until he died or we moved back to Australia, but probably he would die first because he is quite an old cat. Later Owen saw Albert again and he said "There's albert, he's nearly died".... classic comments with Owen. He is just getting the hang of all these dying references.
Sandy and Craig are leaving on the 15th and we will miss them a lot. I am thankful that Owen is starting preschool at the christian preschool near chirch on the 20th and maybe I will meet some more Christian families through that opportunity. And I am sure Kindy in July will come around fast enough too, what with Mum and Dad visiting next month and then June in Australia!
Will post some photos with Albert when I cen get everyone (Albert included) to hold still long enough! Imogen is a very on the move girl these days and Owen is his usual busy self too.
Thanks Bec for the Shaker Egg painting kit: that kept him occupied for nearly an hour yesterday morning and he only painted 2! We hope yo uhave all had a happy easter and had a chance to slow down and reflect on God's gift of grace to us in the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus.
