Winter's here...

This week it has been exceptionally cold... one of the days this week it was -3 degrees at 8:30am. Yes, that is a minus sign before that three. Shame Palmy...
It has meant that the kids have been couped up inside for most of the week and driving mummy and daddy up the wall and around the bend! The sad thing is, we haven't any snow, even on the hills to show for all this ridiculousness.

On the up side, cucumbers came down in price, so we splurged for Imogen's sake. They were the bargain price of $3.99 each. BARGAIN.

Owen has a total of 8 more days of preschool before school holidays and the start of school next term. We've begun forking out money for his school uniform. He will look so smart! He is getting very excited for school. He has three school visits coming up over the next two weeks.

Imogen still loves life. Lots of dancing, singing, barbies, my little ponys, barbies, dancing, singing, engery... did I mention singing and dancing? She loves that. Barbies too. Lucky she has so many of them! At the moment she is saving up all her rewards for the chores and tasks we set her to purchase a Rapunzel dress from Kmart. 2 rewards saved so far, 3 more to go. She has so much more self control when it comes to saving compared to Owen. Owen declares as soon as we enter a store: 'I will not bother saving my rewards up, what can I buy for $6?'
I suppose that's lucky, because he declared the other day he wanted a $200 lego set for his next lot of saved up rewards... but that's gone out the window, as he bought something in Kmart today...

Jonah is growing and changing so much! He is a very happy little boy most of the time. unless he has a fart stuck, then all smell breaks loose. Well it should break loose, but he holds it in and it causes enough issues... Both the big kids love him lots and shower him with attention, maybe a little too much sometimes, but they truly do love him.

Anyways, it's late and bed is calling. And its cold, so here I come electric blanket!
