Well, it seems time is just flying by over here, and its Ash Wednesday today already and that means Easter is only 6 short weeks away. Lee is busy preparing 2 sermons this week and is very thankful they dont do Lent services here so that wont be continuing for the next 6 weeks. He has been hooking up the backup preachers and lay leaders for in case the baby comes on time (Palm Sunday) or late (Easter!!) so that is reassuring for me, and the chairman has been very supportive of Lee taking a weeks paternity leave including a Sunday when the baby comes so that is Awesome!
Owen and I are pretty busy with the weekly routine these days - Playgroup kindergym style on Wednesday mornings and playgroup with biblestudy for Mum on Fridays. It is great to be able to slot into some of these groups really easily and for Owen to be TRYING to make friends... he still doesnt do so well with the bigger kids, and boisterous ones... We try to go to the post office once a week and library to get puzzles and books and DVDs, which means mum takes a walk, and then to the midwife and chiropractor once a fortnight. Next week I'll be at 36 weeks and we have a tour of the hospital on Tuesday to look at the labour ward to know where to go when the big moment occurs! I'll be having weekly midwife appointments from then too.
We got Owen some sand for his sandpit on Monday, but unfortunately sand in NZ is a deep chocolate brown and dirty looking but that didnt bother Owen too much - just me when he comes inside and tries to touch the walls before washing his hands! Owen loves trying to ride his bike (still better backwards than forwards) and playing with balls and drawing and painting so its all go go go when he's up and awake. He's been a bit sick with ear and throat infections this last week but hopefully he's on the mend.
Owen has had a little setback in the toilet training since being sick, but only really 1 accident a day in the last 3, so hopefully this afternoon will be dry and we can get back to the stellar run we were having (5 days dry in a row last week!). He's getting pretty excited about the baby coming and so are we. Not long now to wait and then there will be a whole new kind of craziness no doubt in the Kroehn household!
Anyway, hopefully we will feel like everything is in order by the time the baby comes and then once we've settled into life with 2 kids we might see a bit more of the islands.
Might put some piccies up later of the fish and the sand pit etc etc once Owen wakes up from his sleep.

sounds awesome guys! glad to hear its all going pretty good.
take care.
G'day Kroehn's,
Sounds like things are motoring along just fine in NZ. It is nice to hear. I had two sermons last week for a funeral and we are having studies for lent including ash wednesday.
WA and the Esperance people are great. Not seeing much of the area because i spend most of my day off on the phone to Bec. That just means we will be able to explore when she arrives.
Blessings, Adrian
