Kroehn Chronicles

Here are some recent shots of the family - it has been a big week!
Monday we had a field trip to Masterton and Mt Bruce National Park (actually got ot see some kiwi's up close in a nocturnal house, very cool!) with everyone, and it was a great day, polished off with takeaway tea because we were out of time in the cooking department. Tuesday Owen had his very first hair cut (see photo in chair and post haircut treat of Wendy's milkshake). He was very brave and well behaved. Mum got a haircut then too, but its not too great and she thinks it will be better when it grows out a bit!

Wednesday Nanna and Pop have gone to Wellington, but back in time for church tonight, so I have been home with the 2 kids on my own: certainly a new challenge, and a lot of adjusting for us all. Went to playgroup none the less and Owen mostly enjoyed himself, and Imogen got lots of cuddles but slept the whole time (thankfully!).

Imogen is growing very fast, already out of 4 zero clothes, over 4 kgs already and my midwife is very happy with her progress. My progress is a bit slower, and the expressing is taking a lot of time I'd rather have with the kids, but we'll get there. Wont be putting Imogen back on the boob till at least after next Thursday, and then maybe not at all anyway, just have to wait and see how things progress.
Lee is busy with church preps for this weekend and a little stressed but looking forward to 2 days off Mon and Tues. I'm looking forward to that too! Owen loves his new Beanie- thanks Peachy's.
