Well, last week has flown by and all our household goods have departed us with the help of Allied Pickfords. Monday we had the help of Papa and Granny to bring the remainder of our accumulated ''stuff'' to the flat leaving minimal space to move and the boys cleaned all the outdoor gear with the high pressure cleaner borrowed from Steen Olsen (recently returned from ministry in NZ - at Palmerston North!). They had fun blasting mud and dirt around the backyard! Tuesday the packers came - early unfortunately for Owen, who slept in on typically the worst day possible - and flew through the job of getting things into boxes. About 4 people worked and had the 3 day job nearly completed in 1! Wednesday everything was taken from the unit by 11.30am, leaving the rest of the day for relaxation with our good friends the Hentschke's - also becomming homeless on this day - unfortunately also Kelly's birthday! Happy birthday Kelly - you now have no home! Anyway - we celebrated Kel's 21st, not the homelessness, with dinner and a movie and fell into bed exhuasted.
Owen enjoyed a holiday at Granny and Papa's Tues-Thurs, and apparently was very well behaved, naturally until we arrived Thursday afternoon when he turned up the attitude and tantrums. Ah, feel the love! He really is doing a very good job coping with all the changes and we can't help but feel for him seeing as we no longer have any way to provide normalacy for him until we get to NZ on Jan 11.
WE CAN'T WAIT. BRING IT ON!
